2020 Barsotti Vineyard - Gamay Noir
Why Gamay? Because it's fucking delicious. This is the inaugural wine for M. Zobeck Wines and I only wish there was more of it. Packed with notes of bright strawberry and raspberry against a savory whole-cluster backbone, it’s aged for two years in barrel and nearly one in bottle. This is a serious Gamay.
Due to weather conditions in 2021 and 2022, my next vintage of Barsotti Gamay won’t be until 2023. This is only 107 cases in total. Drink up.

2021 Massa Vineyard - Cabernet Sauvignon
A classic cool climate representation of Cabernet Sauvignon with great acidity and bright red fruit, only 42 cases were produced. It possesses a slight herbaceous quality which is a varietal expression of Cabernet Sauvignon that I appreciate from cooler climates and old school producers like Philip Togni. I would suggest drinking a bottle now and keeping a few for aging as this wine has a long life ahead of it.
